Job Description
Working student Works council (m/f/d)

In this role, you will work on strategic topics shaping the future, analyse current developments, and support the Works Council on matters with direct relevance to employees. You will gain insights into decision-making processes that go far beyond a typical working student position.

To support the Works Council, we are looking for a motivated Working Student (m/f/d) at our Berlin location for a minimum period of 6 months (ideally 12 months).

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Research and analyse strategic topics relating to the future of work, transformation, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and employee participation/co-determination, and prepare findings for the Works Council.
  • Create presentations, briefing materials, decision papers, and position papers to support the Works Council's activities.
  • Support projects and initiatives that have significant impact on employees, company culture, and organisational development.
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of Works Council meetings, committee meetings, and employee assemblies, including documenting outcomes and tracking actions.
  • Provide administrative and organisational support to the Works Council and assist with communication with internal and external stakeholders. You will also provide cover for the Works Council Secretariat during periods of absence.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • You are currently enrolled as a student (m/f/d) in Humanities, Business Administration, Economics, Law, Psychology, Human Resources, Employment Relations, or a related field.
  • You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a structured and organised approach to work, the ability to learn quickly, and a high level of motivation and commitment.
  • You have excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • You handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • You have business-fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
