IN SHORT
We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible at our Berlin or Kassel location, who will work closely with experienced colleagues and gain valuable insights into international energy markets, trading structures, and strategic business development.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Researching technologies, market players, regulatory frameworks, and competitors.
- Assisting in the preparation of business cases (e.g., cost/benefit analyses, risk assessments, market potential).
- Supporting the preparation of presentations, decision papers, and project documents.
- Analyzing market dynamics, price developments, and trading structures in the European energy market.
- Supporting coordination with internal teams (e.g., trading, sales, strategy).
- Preparing meetings, workshops, and stakeholder appointments.
- Collaborating on the documentation of project progress and negotiation results
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
- Current master's degree or advanced bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, energy management, sustainability, natural sciences, or a comparable field.
- Very good English skills; German skills are a plus.
- Initial experience with energy trading, energy management, or topics related to the energy transition is desirable.
- Interest in financial data, market analysis, and economic contexts.
- Enjoyment of developing new ideas and thinking up innovative solutions.
- Proactive, independent, and reliable way of working.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with different teams.
- Motivation to actively shape the energy transition and help develop new business models.
