QA Analyst (m/f/d) - Freelance 6 mths

We have a short-term contract opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Sales IT team in Rotterdam. The team are responsible for the Dutch IT landscape supporting SEFE as an energy supplier in the Netherlands.

Working with a team of developers, a product owner, business analyst and QA Engineer you will test software systems developed in-house for quotations and contracts, invoicing, message handling, customer contact, reporting and customer portals. You will play a key role in monitoring the quality and correct operation of our software.

You will also play an important role in guiding user acceptance tests and providing first-line support to end users. Together with key users, you will coordinate texts and notifications in the user interface and refine the workflow through functional configuration of workflows and emails.

This is a freelance role for up to 6 months with a requirement for fluency in Dutch and a working knowledge of English.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

 

  • Design, execute, and automate test cases – you will create structured test plans and test cases, execute them, and identify problems or defects. You will identify and implement test automation capabilities.
  • Quality assurance and control – you will ensure that products meet quality standards, are free of defects and set up effective quality processes.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards – you will define and monitor quality standards for processes and products, aligned with organisational and customer requirements.
  • Analyse and report data – you will collect and analyse test data, identify trends and areas for improvement and report them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with development teams – you will work closely with developers and other team members to integrate quality goals into the development process.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

 

  • Knowledge of software development processes and testing tools, including automation frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills: you understand complex systems, dissect problems and find solutions.
  • Good communication skills: you can interact effectively with developers, project managers and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in the Dutch language (verbal and written) and a working knowledge of English
  • Experience in supervising user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Experience documenting test plans, test cases, and defects.
  • Experience with AzureDevOps and SQL (desirable)
  • Experience in the energy market (desirable)
