Senior Developer Business Operations Dev & QA

IN SHORT

The Senior Developer is responsible for implementing code changes to new and existing codebases in line with standards & best practises to deliver requirements as defined by the business.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

In this role you will design, code, test, and refine high-quality programs and integration services. You will work across the full development lifecycle, from building and verifying complex solutions to documenting and improving existing systems. You will help shape the choice of tools, methods, and security practices, ensuring robust and well-engineered outcomes. You’ll also take part in code reviews—both contributing to feedback on your own work and leading reviews for colleagues—helping to maintain best practices and drive continuous improvement.

 

  • Undertakes complete design of moderately complex software applications or components.
  • Applies agreed standards, guidelines, patterns and tools. Assists as part of a team in the design of components of larger software systems. Specifies user and/or system interfaces.
  • Creates multiple design views to address the different stakeholders' concerns and to handle functional and non-functional requirements, considering all relevant factors, including security. Assists in the evaluation of options and trade-offs.
  • Assists in designing functional test cases and creating test scripts.
  • Supports the preparation of test data for functional testing under supervision.
  • Executes and records manual and automated functional tests, analysing results and reporting on findings, issues and risks.
  • Collaborates in reviews of work with others as appropriate.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Proven advanced experience  in modern approaches towards software development (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, DevOps)
  • Proven advanced experience in MS SharePoint development and other Microsoft 365 products. Strong knowledge the back-end configurations of SharePoint.
  • Profound knowledge in  Microsoft .Net,  C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, web UI frameworks (Vue, Angular, React) and user interface design for at least 3 years.
  • Proven advanced experience systems analysis, design, and programming techniques and re-factoring;
  • Proven advanced experience to translating functional requirements to technical solutions
  • Knowledge of system security practices, compliance requirements, and risk management
  • Proven ability to resolve  technical issues
  • Proven advanced experience  in supporting the unit testing and integration testing cycles.
