Supporting SEFE’s continued growth in commodity and derivatives trading, SM&T’s Trade Accounting function is looking for a highly motivated, analytically minded individual to join its Accounting Operations Team.

The Corporate Controller will assume the responsibility and accountability for the integrity of the relevant corporate balances that form SM&T’s books and records at a General Ledger (GL) account split by profit centre or cost centre level

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Finance process and systems optimisation
• End-to-end responsibility for assigned Finance processes
• Engaging with IT to translate business requirements into technical requirements and select the most appropriate solution, agree with IT solution design and delivery approach
• Streamlining and automating processes to increase efficiency and accuracy, with focus on using technology and AI "Data management and reporting

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• '- Experience in financial process optimisation, including analysing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing streamlined solutions using technology and automation (e.g., AI).
• Experience in data management and reporting: Experience ensuring the integrity of financial data, developing and maintaining reporting systems, and creating regular and ad-hoc financial reports for management.
• Hands-on experience with finance systems (e.g., SAP, financial reporting tools) as a super user, managing master data and working with reporting tools across finance functions.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience, working closely with IT, accounting, and other departments to integrate financial systems and meet business needs.
• Project management experience in leading or participating in projects related to financial system upgrades, migrations, and process changes, including managing timelines and resources.
