Senior Corporate Accountant (m/f/d)

IN SHORT

As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting across our corporate, infrastructure, and non-gross margin entities. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will provide technical accounting expertise, lead process improvement initiatives, and support strategic finance projects.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Manage complex accounting transactions, including accruals, prepayments, asset accounting, and financial adjustments under IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end close activities.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements, standardisation, and automation across accounting processes.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting requirements.
  • Partner with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders on accounting and reporting matters.
  • Lead and contribute to accounting, systems, and finance transformation projects.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in a Senior Corporate Accountant or similar role, ideally within a complex or multinational environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience handling complex accounting issues within a large or multinational organisation.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • SAP experience and strong analytical skills.
  • Problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
