IN SHORT
You will play a key role in ensuring onboarding outputs translate into accurate and scalable configuration within ETRM platforms such as Endur, supporting the smooth setup of brokers, trading houses, financial institutions and commodity warehouses.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Analyse and document the full counterparty onboarding lifecycle, including processes, data requirements and governance controls.
- Engage with stakeholders across Front Office, Legal, Credit, Risk, Operations and IT to gather requirements for counterparty setup, trading permissions and agreement structures.
- Capture onboarding requirements for a wide range of counterparty types with diverse legal, operational and trading needs.
- Support the implementation of a workflow platform, defining data capture, validation rules, approval flows and operational checkpoints.
- Define how onboarding outputs map into ETRM system configuration (e.g., Endur), including counterparty hierarchies, legal entities and agreements.
- Support configuration and validation of counterparty reference data, including settlement instructions, trading permissions and agreement attributes.
- Define data flows between workflow platforms, ETRM systems and internal data platforms.
- Produce high‑quality BA artefacts including requirements documents, functional specifications, business rules, data definitions and process maps.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of ETRM platforms (ideally Endur), including counterparty, legal entity and agreement structures.
- Experience working with counterparty reference data models and system configuration for trading permissions and agreements.
- Ability to define data mappings and integration requirements between workflow tools and trading systems.
- Understanding of trading agreements such as EFET and how they translate into system setup.
- Experience with data structures, data flows and integration patterns across trading platforms.
- Strong capability in producing functional specifications and structured requirements.
Soft Skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.
- Strong facilitation skills with experience running workshops and structured discussions.
- Analytical, detail‑focused and able to translate complexity into clear requirements.
- Effective communicator with strong documentation standards.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, complex trading environments.
Experience
- Proven Business Analyst experience in energy or commodity trading.
- Good understanding of the trading lifecycle and trading operations.
- Experience with counterparty onboarding or reference data processes (advantageous).
- Experience with workflow / case management platforms (desirable).
- Hands‑on experience with Endur or similar ETRM systems (desirable).
- Experience in multi‑commodity trading environments.
