IN SHORT
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled QA Engineer with experience in C#, Python, SQL, and automated testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software within a fast-paced, regulated trading environment. This role combines hands-on automation testing, QA best practices, and operational governance to support a stable, secure, and compliant software delivery lifecycle.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
This role will play a key part in designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, supporting change management processes, and embedding best practices across QA, risk, and compliance. Working closely with developers, analysts, and governance teams, you will be responsible for delivering robust testing strategies and ensuring system readiness across all environments.
The role will also support wider operational governance, including audit evidence, regulatory compliance, and continuity planning. You will contribute to deployment readiness, security testing, and business continuity exercises to ensure resilient operations and controlled change. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on technical QA expertise with broader governance and risk oversight in a dynamic environment.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for API, UI, and system integration using C#, Python, and SQL.
- Defining and executing robust testing strategies across system, integration, regression, and UAT phases.
- Overseeing quality checks for system changes, deployments, and audit evidence to support risk and compliance reviews.
- Ensuring QA processes align with internal security policies, regulations (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II), and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.
- Supporting deployment readiness, continuity planning, disaster recovery testing, and risk mitigation activities.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
We’re looking for someone with a balance of technical expertise, regulatory awareness, and strong collaboration skills. You’ll be comfortable building automation frameworks, working within regulated environments, and supporting risk and compliance processes. A problem-solver at heart, you’ll bring both hands-on technical ability and a keen eye for governance, quality, and operational resilience.
Your ability to communicate effectively, engage stakeholders across IT and business functions, and maintain clear documentation will ensure QA processes are robust, traceable, and audit-ready.
- Hands-on experience with C#, Python, SQL, and test automation frameworks, plus familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Git.
- Proven QA experience in regulated environments, with knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II) and structured change control.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and risk assessment skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate issues early in the lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement across technical, business, and compliance teams.
- A relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems) is preferred; ITIL knowledge is a plus.
