QA Engineer - Business Operations Dev & QA (m/f/d)

IN SHORT

As a QA Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise solutions within our Business Operations Dev & QA team. Your responsibilities include designing and executing both functional and non-functional tests, managing quality standards, and supporting incident management processes across platforms such as SAP and SharePoint.

 

You will work in a SAP-centric environment (SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC covering HCM, FICO, P2P) and integrated platforms like SharePoint, leveraging tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps for test planning and defect management. Experience with SAP is an advantage, but we also welcome strong QA professionals with backgrounds in complex systems such as ERP, CRM, finance, or logistics.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Quality Management

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute quality and environmental standards for enterprise solutions. Implement technical changes, control updates, and ensure timely distribution of revised standards.

 

Testing (Functional & Non-Functional)

  • Design and execute comprehensive test cases and scripts for both functional and non-functional requirements. Prepare test data, configure environments, and automate repeatable tests. Participate in requirement and design reviews, conduct exploratory testing, troubleshoot issues, and analyze results to ensure system performance and functionality meet defined criteria.
  • Design and execute comprehensive test cases and scripts for both functional and non-functional requirements, with a focus on end-to-end business processes in an SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC environment, its integrations, and related solutions on SharePoint.​
    Prepare test data, configure environments, and automate repeatable tests where appropriate.​
  • Use Jira and/or Azure DevOps: plan test cycles, track defects, and maintain traceability.
  • Design and execute comprehensive test cases and scripts for both functional and non-functional requirements, with a focus on end‑to‑end business processes in an SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC environment and its integrations.
  • Prepare test data, configure environments, and automate repeatable tests where appropriate.
  • Participate in requirement and design reviews, conduct exploratory testing, troubleshoot issues, and analyze results to ensure that system performance and functionality meet defined criteria.
  • Use Jira and/or Azure DevOps to plan test cycles, track defects, and maintain traceability from requirements to test cases.

 

Incident Management

  • Manage incident queues. Contribute to improving incident management processes, track trends using analytics, and ensure proper documentation and closure.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Relevant qualifications in Information Technology or related field
  • Hands-on  experience in functional and non-functional testing (unit, integration, system, acceptance, regression, UAT, performance) for SAP or SharePoint
  • Knowledge of programming languages, software development processes, and testing tools, including automation frameworks
  • Understanding of system security, compliance, and risk management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to document test cases, plans, and defects effectively
  • Interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • IT and/or SAP certifications are an advantage

 

Nice to have (SAP / SharePoint):

  • Experience testing solutions in SharePoint or SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC (P2P, FICO, HCM).
  • SAP / SharePoint certifications are an advantage.​
  • Willingness to deepen expertise in SAP testing and SAP-related business processes.
  • If you don’t have SAP experience yet but have strong QA skills and want to learn SAP S/4HANA, we will help you ramp up with structured onboarding and close support from our SAP functional teams.
