IT Analyst (PMO/PSO)

IN SHORT

The IT Analyst PMO/PSO role involves providing comprehensive day-to-day support and collaboration with the Programme Manager, Project Managers, and stakeholders. This includes essential administrative tasks, coordination, and governance support to ensure projects are well-organised, on track, and adhere to established project management processes, standards, and best practices.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will maintain and organise project documentation, including charters, plans, schedules, and progress reports, ensuring alignment with established standards and best practices. You’ll collect, analyse, and interpret data related to program / project performance, preparing comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide insights into progress and issues, and presenting findings to stakeholders. You will serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to the program / project, providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders.

•    Assist in the development and execution of the program / project communication plan through various channels, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed about program / project developments.
•    Support resource allocation and coordination efforts, including tracking resource availability and utilization across projects, and maintaining resource calendars and schedules.
•    Actively participate in process improvement initiatives within the PMO, identifying opportunities to enhance project management practices and methodologies.
•    Assist in identifying, documenting, and monitoring risks and issues across the program/project, contributing to risk mitigation and issue resolution efforts.
•    Schedule and facilitate meetings, including taking minutes and following up on action items.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

•    Experience in IT PMO / PSO
•    Experience working with KeyedIn & SAP
•    Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
•    Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, diagrams, formulas)
•    Excellent PowerPoint skills and presentation preparation
•    Able to tailor reporting to stakeholder requirements
•    Self-starter and able to work on own initiative to plan and prioritise multiple activities
•    Strong Analytical skills and high level of accuracy in all area of work
