IN SHORT
The GRC Manager ensures that security governance, risk management, and compliance capabilities operate effectively within assigned business, technology, or security domains. Acting as the primary GRC representative, the role provides oversight, challenge, guidance, and assurance while maintaining independent second‑line responsibilities.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Lead GRC activities for assigned business or security areas.
- Identify, assess and track security risks and treatment plans.
- Ensure policies, standards and controls are understood and applied.
- Conduct and coordinate assurance reviews and control effectiveness checks.
- Support internal/external audits and regulatory compliance needs.
- Oversee third‑party and supplier security risk assessments.
- Deliver regular risk, assurance and compliance reporting.
- Provide GRC input into major projects and change initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in GRC processes and tools.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
- Experience in GRC, security risk, governance or compliance roles.
- Qualifications in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, Risk or related field.
- Strong knowledge of security risk frameworks, policies and controls.
- Experience with audits, assurance testing or evidence management.
- Ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in complex or regulated environments (e.g., financial services, energy, trading, critical infrastructure).
- Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
- Exposure to third‑party security risk management.
