Developer

IN SHORT

We’re hiring for a key development role within SEFE Marketing & Trading, focused on delivering high-quality solutions across both project and BAU portfolios. This role sits within a well-established team that provides analytical tooling and bespoke risk management applications to our Derivatives Trading Desk. With a strong track record and trusted partnership with the business, the team works closely with traders and quants to gather requirements, develop in-house tools, and continuously enhance trading capabilities in a fast-paced, front-office environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain in-house applications for the Derivatives trading desk using Python, ensuring efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Implement automated testing using PyTest and ensure code quality through peer reviews.
  • Data Management: Efficiently handle data using NumPy and Pandas, performing data processing, analysis, and manipulation.
  • Deployment and Maintenance: Manage continuous integration and deployment of applications, ensuring stability in production environments.
  • Version Control: Utilise Git-based version control for code management, ensuring a clear and collaborative development workflow.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Experience with auditing within Energy sector, covering Gas/Power/LNG trading processes in Front, Middle or Back offices
  • Proven track record in audit, project management, consultancy or equivalent
  • CIA, CISA, ACCA or equivalent certification
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Understanding of and preferably experience of auditing ITGCs
