Workplace IT Support

IN SHORT

We are looking for you to join us as a skilled point of contact in IT Workplace Services, providing solution-oriented second-level support and professional assistance to end users. You bring solid experience in IT support, Windows environments, and end-user hardware, and you actively contribute to infrastructure projects and device management. A strong customer focus, team spirit, and excellent German and English skills complete your profile.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Contact person for IT Workplace Services in direct communication with end users
  • Qualified second-level support: solution-oriented handling of service requests as well as problem analysis with troubleshooting in the operational IT Workplace Services or escalation to responsible support groups
  • Installation and configuration, regular functional and operational checks as well as decommissioning or relocation of various IT workplace devices and environments (desktops, laptops, landline and mobile phones, conference room equipment, video conferencing systems, printers, print services, etc.)
  • Administrative support in procurement, licensing, and inventory of hardware and software
  • On-call support as needed
  • Support of local IT infrastructure measures as well as participation in IT projects and their implementation 

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Completed training, for example as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d) or comparable experience as a career changer (m/f/d)
  • Relevant professional experience in IT and support
  • Solid knowledge in the areas of 2nd and 3rd level support, Windows clients, Active Directory, group policies, TCP/IP networks, printing, MS Exchange, mobile device management, and IP telephony
  • Very good IT end-user hardware knowledge
  • Knowledge in virtualization, SQL, Windows Server, and MS Certification Authority is an advantage
  • Strong technical understanding, customer and service orientation, flexibility regarding tasks, as well as teamwork skills
  • Good communication skills, committed and conceptual way of working combined with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
