IN SHORT

We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) for our location in Kassel who can actively support us in the Portfolio Modeling & Forecasting department in the Account Management Forecasting area as soon as possible.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• You will support the team in their daily work, e.g., in validating and checking forecasts. In doing so, you will learn about our machine learning process in daily use and will be involved in process documentation.
• You will assist with in-depth analysis activities, both in report creation and in data preparation. This will also give you insight into the collaboration with the Data Analytics Team in our IT department.
• You will assist in the configuration of various systems and be involved in our continuous improvement process for optimizing energy forecasts.
• You will assist with programming activities in our simulation framework. In doing so, you will apply your coding skills in Python and gain insight into the practical implementation of scenario analysis.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

• You are currently studying computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable degree program.
• You work carefully and in a structured manner and can act quickly and efficiently even in dynamic work environments.
• You are interested in data analysis and ideally already have experience in this area (e.g., through internships or project work).
• You have gained initial experience in a programming language, ideally Python.
• You are confident in using MS Office products.
• Good communication skills in German and English as well as a high degree of team orientation round off your profile.
