As Senior Infrastructure Investment Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for optimizing and extending SEFE group’s portfolio of infrastructure assets (mainly gas storage and transportation) and for representing SEFE’s interest as a part of a  senior management team in the Infrastructure Division. You will work closely with various departments within the company and with internal and external infrastructure companies to ensure an increase in the value of the SEFE group’s infrastructure asset portfolio. This position offers a unique opportunity to actively participate on preparing the SEFE group’s portfolio of infrastructure assets for privatization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure investments, exceptional communication and financial analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing large-scale investment projects. Hands-on investor-side experience in due diligence and/or acquisition and/or post-purchase asset management of an (energy) infrastructure asset is a considerable plus.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Portfolio Management: Oversee the existing infrastructure investment portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and risk management.
• Evaluation of real options: Evaluate real options (regulatory, technical and operational optimisation) from an investment perspective of our existing infrastructure portfolio for value creation, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities and assess market trends.
• Contract Optimisation: Evaluate and negotiate changes to long-term contract and joint venture agreements with external partners, including financial modelling, risk assessment, and valuation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, and industry partners.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed investment analyses and recommendations to senior management and audit, finance and risk committees.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or CFA, ERP, CAIA designation are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in infrastructure investment management or a related field, ideally via a hands on investor-side experience in (energy) infrastructure assets.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent understanding of infrastructure markets and investment trends.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale investment projects.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong team management abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Good written and spoken German and English
