At our Kassel location, we will soon be looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer to support us with data exchange across Europe with our market partners.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Application Operations: Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of market communication applications.
• Incident & Problem Management: Handling of incidents and problems to ensure the smooth operation of applications.
• Test Management: Execution of testing tasks and support of test processes.
• Deputy Application Owner: Acting as a substitute for the application owner when needed.
• Coordination with External Service Providers: Collaboration with external vendors in daily operations and projects.
• Service Delivery: Ensuring reliable IT operations in accordance with agreed service levels.
• Documentation: Maintenance and updating of application and process documentation.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

• Experience with integration tools (Virtimo Inubit preferred), Linux server, and web technologies (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSLT, FTP, AS4)
• Knowledge of SSL/MIME certificates, EDIFACT, EDIXML
• Skills in Ansible, Terraform, and databases (Oracle, SQL, MariaDB)
• IT operations experience with change impact assessment
• Strong test management and documentation skills
• Structured working style, fluent German and good English skills
• Degree in Information Technologies or related field
