We are looking for a Project Engineer EMSR Technology (m/f/d) for our Engineering department at our Kassel location to start as soon as possible.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Project engineer in the fields of electrical engineering, measurement and control technology (EMSR) for SEFE storage projects within existing gas storage facilities and the JemgumH2 project, with a focus on electrical energy technology
• Involvement in the development of EMSR requirements for projects to ensure efficient storage operation and compliance with corporate goals in the context of energy transformation
• Assuming responsibility in project organization
• Managing and coordinating engineering firms and other service providers and suppliers during the planning, installation, and commissioning of EMSR components
• Reviewing and optimizing reports, specifications, and services, and ensuring compliance with requirements from guidelines, standards, regulatory, and SEFE specifications
• Responsibility for costs, budgets, and deadlines within the assigned area of responsibility
• Managing the interfaces between the EMSR department and other disciplines
• Technical negotiations with suppliers and service providers, development of contract strategies, support of purchasing in commercial negotiations
• Construction/commissioning supervision for EMSR topics may be required on site

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

• University degree (university/technical college) in electrical engineering or automation technology or a comparable qualification
• Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and guidelines
• Willingness and commitment to familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility
• Independent working style
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive, structured, and independent way of working with high quality standards
• Willingness to travel on business (approx. 3-4 trips per month)
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint)
• Business fluent German and good written and spoken English
• Class B driver's license
