Lead Business Analyst (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated Lead Business Analyst (m/f/d) to join our IT team at our Kassel location.

Amidst the exciting green transformation of our company, the Offer Management & Digital Channel team is responsible for the IT support and ongoing development of our sales-related systems — actively shaping the future of the company through innovative digital solutions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Do you enjoy analyzing and interpreting complex information? Communicating with technical and business stakeholders? Coordinating, optimizing processes, analyzing data? Managing projects and developing creative IT solutions for business challenges? Then you've come to the right place!

As a Lead Business Analyst (m/f/d), you are the expert for products, business processes, and IT systems in the energy industry. Within a team of IT professionals, we offer you a highly engaging position with plenty of room for initiative and personal responsibility. You will manage a clearly defined set of IT applications, in which you will build deep expertise and a broad understanding of the underlying sales-related processes over time.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
  • Several years of experience in comparable roles
  • In-depth understanding of business models, business processes, and the design of IT solutions – ideally within the energy sector
  • Proven track record in project management, IT implementation, or equivalent areas
  • Strong analytical thinking, conceptual skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with various IT application systems and to understand new business areas
  • Curiosity, a strong desire to explore, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and strong social competence
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
