Lead a forecasting team responsible for delivering accurate energy demand forecasts across European markets. WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Lead the delivery of accurate energy demand forecasts across multiple European portfolios.
- Drive improvements in forecasting models and processes and ensure alignment with accuracy KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Pricing, Trading and Risk) to deliver actionable insights for managing volumetric and price risks.
- Support SEFE-wide forecasting initiatives by ensuring continuity during system updates and using strategic changes to improve and harmonize forecasting processes..
- Foster the growth and integration of forecasting teams within the CSO domain, promoting shared learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set and deliver team performance objectives, manage training, and support onboarding of new team members.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
- Proven leadership experience in forecasting, data science, or energy analytics.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML forecasting techniques and operational forecasting processes.
- Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in international, cross-functional environments.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on operational capabilities.
- Passion for team development and collaborative growth.
