IN SHORT

We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to join our Accounting Services team at SEFE GmbH, with a focus on supporting our gas sales entities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded in the general ledger. The position plays a critical role in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports—including balance sheets, income statements, and accompanying notes—contributing to the integrity and transparency of our financial reporting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and foreign GAAP as well as the reporting packages in accordance with IFRS for Group companies, especially Gas sales entities"                                                              
• Ongoing recording of business transactions in HGB and foreign GAAP Accounting
• Determination and recording of accruals, deferrals and value adjustments"         
• Asset accounting management"                                               
• Participation in Accounting-relevant optimisation and harmonisation projects (e.g., SAP ERP implementation projects)"           

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Experienced  Accountant, with experience post qualification.
• Solid understanding of German GAAP and other local GAAP, if required, as well as IFRS accounting and reporting and core financial accounting control principles.
• Hands-on experience working with medium complex accounting topics and corresponding process landscape.
• Experience of working with vast amounts of data, and financial reporting thereon.
