IN SHORT
As a Payroll Specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for entering and maintaining employee data in the payroll system and ensuring accurate payroll processing for various SEFE entities using modern HR IT systems. You will prepare reconciliation records for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Your duties also include preparing payment transactions, managing company pension schemes in collaboration with external partners, and communicating with social insurance providers, tax authorities, and employees. You will support the implementation and further development of SAP and contribute to quality assurance and documentation of change requests. Additionally, you will actively participate in internal and external audits.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Entry and maintenance of administrative and payroll-relevant personnel data in the payroll system

Ensuring payroll processing for various domestic SEFE entities using modern HR IT systems

Preparation of reconciliation documents for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of supported entities

Preparation of payroll-related payment transactions using online banking software
-
Ensuring proper execution of company pension schemes in collaboration with external partners

Communication and coordination with social security agencies, tax offices, and employees

Support for payroll-relevant project tasks, especially the implementation and further development of SAP and related HR IT applications

Ensuring proper documentation of change requests and implementing quality assurance measures in line with internal policies

Participation in and support for internal and external audits and their preparation
WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Completed university degree in business or commercial training (e.g. HR specialist) or equivalent professional experience

Professional experience in a comparable role with a focus on payroll processes and HR IT systems

Solid knowledge of SAP HCM; experience with S/4HANA or SAP SuccessFactors is a plus

Strong IT affinity and confidence in developing HR processes and systems

Sound knowledge of social security and payroll tax law, with basic knowledge of labor law

Strong communication and teamwork skills; a work style characterized by responsibility, results orientation, and reliability

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Fluent English (written and spoken); business fluent German
