IN SHORT
Acting as the central point of contact for transfer pricing and tax audit matters across the SEFE Group. This role has overall responsibility for managing transfer pricing risks, overseeing tax audits, particularly within the German Group entities, and coordinating the monitoring of international tax audits. The position drives the development and implementation of SEFE's global transfer pricing policies and governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. It also serves as a trusted advisor, providing expert transfer pricing guidance to business stakeholders, support functions, and the wider tax team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- To ensure set in place and following of TP guidelines as well as timely preparation and submission of all reporting obligations for SEFE-Group, this includes the writing of Masterfile and local files with relevant departments
- To oversee the maintenance, updating, and implementation of tax controls and processes, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to Transfer Pricing models.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the appropriate operation of Transfer Pricing models and their correct implementation including of the proper transfer pricing for intercompany SLA
- Responsible for the duly handling of German tax audits with relevant members of tax team
- Monitor and supervise abroad audits
- Cooperate with SEFE Group tax colleagues where necessary to ensure alignment across tax function
- Ensure compliance within the Transfer Pricing function, managing risks and overseeing adherence to Transfer Pricing policies and practices to assure a compliant position in tax audits
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
- Master's degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification (e.g. Diploma)
- Professional qualification such as Certified Tax Adviser, ACA, CPA, or equivalent is highly desirable
- Experience within the energy, commodities trading, or financial services sector would be a distinct advantage
- Demonstrated expertise in transfer pricing and tax audits gained within a multinational organization and/or a leading professional services firm
- Strong practical knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and global transfer pricing regulations, with the ability to apply them in a commercial environment
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring transfer pricing frameworks, systems, processes, and controls
- Hands-on experience preparing and overseeing transfer pricing documentation, including Master Files and Local Files
- Strong organizational, project management, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with the confidence to engage effectively across all levels of the business
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to navigate complex business environments and translate technical tax and transfer pricing requirements into practical business solutions
- Fluent German is essential, combined with business-fluent English skills for effective collaboration in an international environment.
