We are looking for an Internal Audit Senior Advisor (IT + Data Analyst) (m/f/d) to support our team in Kassel or Berlin.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify trends, patterns and anomalies to support risk assessment, control assessment and audit decisions.
• Complete coverage of the entire group, avoiding the disadvantages of sampling audits;
• Initiate continuous audit and monitoring and collect real-time data to identify issues and mitigate risks
• Complete audit working papers
• Produce clear and concise audit reports that provide actionable insights to facilitate decision making and improve governance.
• Agreeing audit recommendations with stakeholders
• Providing technical guidance to the audit team on the use of data analytics

YOUR PROFILE

• Professional Excel skills, basic knowledge of SQL, any scripting languages
• Expert in business processes, process improvement and business change
• Experience with auditing technology controls (ITGC, applications, infrastructure) and an understanding of new technologies (e.g. Data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning)
• Good communication skills in German and English
• Ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders
• Experience in internal or external audit or a closely related field such as risk management, finance or compliance
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience in finance) in engineering, mathematics, finance or a related discipline
